Making money the fly way. . .

WWB let's keep the faith. Keep it strong.

Listened to the game 0n the radio yesterday, it was a great game. Should've bought tickets, but didn't.
Can't believe that Duck defense, and I can't wait until we whup it up on the fucking Huskies next week!
Those Beavs though, could be a challenge.

Trent Edwards is his name

Edwards is the Stanford qb's name. Teevins is the head coach? I don't know, who cares anyway it's not like anyone reads this fucking blog anymore. . .

What's Oregon known for? Cutting Down TREES!

Doesn't Stanford have some gay tree as their mascot. Well the Ducks are going to cut that fucker down.
It won't be an easy job, Stanford is actually pretty good, their quarterback (Teevins?) can really be a threat down the field. I don't know much about their defense. . . I think Oregon will have to win it with their offense, as in long, succesful drives that keep our cornerbacks and d linemen well rested.

I say look for the Ducks to come out with an emphasis on draw plays and screens and Stanford to come out in Victorian women's wear with dainty floral print parasols to protect their pretty faces from the sun.

Nomaduck = The Only True Duck Fan?

Christ, and he's not even from Oregon! Where are you suckers? The Ducks are starting to win, now -- it's okay to show your faces now! I admit, I missed what turned out to be a hell of a game last week because I had advance tickets for "Team America." This weekend it's all Ducks.

And I'm with Nomaduck on our bowl chances. Last weekend Kellen Clemens singlehandedly saved our bowl chances, God bless him. Our next three games are the Wildcats (they suck!) the Trees (they suck enough) and the Huskies (suckety-suck suck!). The last 3 (schedule here) will be the real test -- except for the Beavers (triple-sucking suckers of sucktasticity ... SUCK!). So, barring any major disasters, we're bowl-bound.

I'm just hoping no one gets shot.

From here on out WINS, then HOLIDAY BOWL TIME

The Ducks can and should win this upcoming game against Arizona. But it's highly likely that fumblerooskies, bad puntooskis and other fuckupskis of varying natures will conspire against them.

Perhaps "conspire against them" is the wrong phrase. Shooting themselves with their own gun seems more apropriate.

Clemens got his shit together last week, and the big Yella O's offense machine started to click, I hope we can maintain the same momentum this weekend. I like the Ducks defensively in this matchup, and I'm just going to have faith that the offense will follow suit. Key thing to watch, will be if Oregon can establish the deep ball threat, which will open up Tim Day for middle of the field receptions and give Whitehead more of a chance to break through the line on running plays.

If Oregon can have two 30+ yard receptions in the first quarter, it's all over for Arizona. If not, look for a grind 'em out game in which Oregon could lose if they let the cats hang around.

OH YEAH, That feels so good baby, I love it

Oregon beats WSU in a thrilling come from behind, score nearly 30 points in the fourth quarter game, and no one has anything to say about it?

Well I've got this to say, BOW DOWN DUCK DOUBTERS and SUCK IT!

BRING ON DA WILDCATS!

Damn those minions!, and for the record. . .

Well, at least we didn't get torched again.

And I hate to say it, but, I was right. Devan Long shut down, not enough pressure, Ngata couldn't get inside, the D-Line was good but they couldn't get the job done.

And while ASU did score 28 points, but Clemens did not get his shit together. It's getting really frustrating because the receivers are open but he just can't get the ball to them on target.

Oh and Whitaker is a BIATCH! No true Duck fan ever bets against them, NEVER

No hope for Satan's minions tonight

I like AK's thoughts on the game, especially mentioning the fact that the Ducks should avoid taking the ball and giving it right back.

Yet I'm inclined to predict that this matchup will be decided, as more often than not, in the trenches between O and D lines. The Ducks defensive ends, especially Devan Long need to get to ASU's qb or he'll burn us again. Inside, our big Samoan Morman Ngata from Utah has to provide the pressure to both stop the run and free up the ends of the line.
If a quarterback has a 350 pound dude running full speed at him quoting from the book of Morman, he ain't got time to set and throw the deep ball.

As in previous years I've little confidence in our secondary, but much in our D-Line. It'll be on the big boys to win this one tonight, and I think the Ducks can.

ASU: 28
UO: 34

Oh, yeah and Clemens has got to get his shit together to score 34 points against a quality opponent.

A bit presumptuous? Nah.

I received this bulk Duckmail yesterday.

---------------

Dear [Blog],

As we prepare to host our Pac-10 rivals with the beginning of conference play, I send you this message in hopes of your continued cooperation regarding good sportsmanship at our home football games.

Overall, the feedback we have received from both the Indiana and Idaho fans has been positive. Hoosier and Vandal administration, coaches, staff, players and fans have praised our overall athletic program, our teams and the environment. Both made a point of complementing the behavior and spirit of the Oregon fans.

You have helped in so many ways in making Oregon Athletics something special. I ask that you again lend a hand in making sure our visitors feel welcome in the loudest stadium they will visit all season by displaying good sportsmanship at all Oregon events.

Thank you for your continued support and assistance. GO DUCKS!!

Sincerely,

Bill Moos
Director of Athletics
